Chiropractic Biophysics: What is it and How Can it Help Recovery?

by | Jun 16, 2016 | General Chiropractic

Chiropractic biophysics is a heavily researched technique to regain the structures of your spine. If you look at the spine from the side there are three curves in the spine. The lumbar, or the lower part of the spine curves convexly towards the front part of the body. The thoracic spine, which is the spine that has the ribs attached to it, curves convexly to the back. The neck, again, curves convexly towards the front.

Often in a motor vehicle collision people will lose the spinal curvatures, particularly in the cervical spine. Chiropractic biophysics is a techniques that 99% of the chiropractors out there do not do. This a heavily researched technique that affords to get the spinal curves back into alignment.

The technique was originally started back in the ’80s by a gentleman who had a PhD in mathematics. He had a master’s of science in mechanical engineering. He was a doctor of chiropractic. It’s been published in 134 different peer reviewed journal articles. Eight of them in the journal, Spine, which is the big daddy of any spine journal, so that is a heavily researched and very therapeutic, and very scientifically based technique.
